When you see His children, you are looking at the Holy One. Matthew 18:10 tells others that God’s children reflect God’s shining face. It is a prayer asking God to protect His people from any harm. God loves to bless you, but he also wants you to ask for His blessings. His promise to bless, give grace, and peace. This exact verse that the priest blesses God’s people’s wish to hold. Numbers 6:24-26 NIV: God will give His soldiers peace “The Lord bless you and keep you the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.” He has chosen to give each soldier strength, courage, and confidence to perform on the battlefield with this power. God’s righteous right hand is the total power that is His alone. The department of defense is your Father giving you the helmet of salvation, the breastplate of righteousness, and the shield of your salvation. O Lord, you are worthy of praise for providing a boot camp that has prepared deployed soldiers with the equipment and skills to fight the good fight. He is not only giving you strength, but God states that He will help you with this strength. Isaiah 41:10 is the Heavenly Father giving you peace of mind. His mission is to protect and bring up His creation. In the Holy Bible, His Son is fighting the enemy with His Word. God is a man of war and has taught many military members to suit up in His armor. God tells good soldiers to prepare mentally, physically, and spiritually for war. Even the best soldiers hold onto God’s promises to seek light in a dark place. Knowing that it truly is all in God’s hands keeps them sane. It is tough to encounter, and only God’s Word can carry them through this time.
